If you have no choice but to visit us in the off season please email us and request a personal tour for your group or family. Meet the Owner
The American Giants Museum would not be a reality without Lee Woods who is a collector himself with years of experience in the vintage sign market. Lee runs another roadside stop in Hot Springs, AR called Giants Garage with dozens of fiberglass figures and a growing collection of Muffler Men. Lee recently purchased the American Giants property and building and is now working together with Joel Baker and American Giants in the same way the Atlanta Betterment Fund did. Now with two collections combined, giant things are in store!
The Man Behind the Giants
Joel Baker is the owner of the massive collection of giants and figures at the American Giants Museum. The giants and the name are on loan to the Atlanta Betterment Fund in a partnership that started in 2022. Joel has been researching, finding and restoring Muffler Men for 15 years and is happy to share his collection and research at the American Giants Museum. Joel now works with Lee Woods who purchased the property in late 2025 and together they continue to educate Route 66 travelers about the giants and provide a unique roadside attraction with the largest collection of Muffler Men on Route 66.
