  • Exhibit Work

New exhibits are planned for the 2025 tourist season including this vintage Bob’s Big Boy statue. The Bob’s was obtained from a former employee of the franchise in Charleston, NC who had saved the giant in his garage for the last 30+ years. Joel Baker traveled to SC to purchase the giant and transport him to the AGM in late 2024. The Big Boy will be a highlight for the 2025 season.

  • Texaco Giant Installed

In 2024 during the Grand Opening weekend in May, the long awaited Texaco Big Friend arrived and was installed. The giant is the main attraction at the Museum and inside you can read about the 300 giants that were made and how all but 6 of these massive gas station attendants were destroyed.

  • New Rotating Exhibits

During the 2024 season visitors were able to get a close up look at the leg and foot section of a Uniroyal Gal. However with the arrival of Lumi at the Country Aire Resturant just around the corner from the AGM, this rotating exhibit is retired.

In 2025 we hope to replace this exhibit with an original Girrafe head made at International Fiberglass to showcase the many animal figures they made.

  • New Giant Arrivals

In 2025 the AGM will start getting more giants and Muffler Men to fill out the remaining platforms. The first arrival will be a original Kitchen Carpet Viking made for the Viking Carpet Co in the late 60s.

This giant will be on loan from a generous collector and will be fully restored when he arrives in the Spring of 2025.

  • Lumi Arrives!

The AGM no longer has the need to acquire a Uniroyal Gal because the Country Aire Resturant just down the street just got one! Be sure and take the time to visit her on your next trip and sample some of the pies she advertises.

  • Phillips 66 Cowboy

Restoration is ongoing for the Phillips 66 Cowboy that will arrive in 2025. This original cowboy was pulled from the woods in Macon, GA and will get a full restoration back to his original colors and look. He will join the Snerd and a Viking at the Museum this coming Spring.
